ORDER

The present petition has been filed by the complainant in S.T.C.No.153 of 2021, on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Sivakasi, seeking expeditious disposal of the criminal proceedings.

2. A perusal of the records reveal that the same has been filed under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act and it is posted on 27.03.2026 for continuation of cross examination of P.W.1.

3. According to the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, on several occasions, the accused person was not present and therefore, it has been adjourned on several occasions.

4. In view of the above said facts, there shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Sivakasi, to dispose of S.T.C.No.153 of 2021 as expeditiously as possible, in anyway, it shall be disposed of on or before 31.05.2026.

5. With the above said observations, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
