Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondent to grant leave 20 days to the petitioner's son namely Mari @ Mariappan and Kasivishvanathan who are undergoing sentence as Life Convict in Central Prison, Palayamkottai to make an arrangement to provide necessary medical treatment to their father namely, Sankarapandian in pursuance of Rule 20 of Tamil Nadu Suspension of Sentence 1982.

Mr.N.Manoharan, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice for the Respondents. By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the Respondents.

3. The present Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents to grant leave 20 days to the petitioner's son namely Mari @ Mariappan and Kasivishvanathan, who are undergoing sentence, as Life Convict, in Central Prison, Palayamkottai, to make an arrangement to provide necessary medical treatment to their father namely, Sankarapandian, in pursuance of Rule 20 of Tamil Nadu Suspension of Sentence 1982. 4.The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that it would suffice, if the representation of the petitioner is disposed of, on merits, and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 5.In view of the limited scope of the prayer, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the respondents are directed to dispose of the petitioner's representation, dated 21.09.2015, and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
