[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] This petition has been filed by the father of the detenu who is stated to be missing from the month of November, 2017 onwards.

2.Status report filed by the second respondent would show that the detenu was missing while swimming in the river which was on spate. Despite investigation is made, enquired the friends of the detenu including the persons, whose names have been specifically mentioned in the affidavit, no further progress has been made. Further the report shows that the friends of the missing person were examined, statements recorded, call details obtained and gold jewels were also collected. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.Thus, in those circumstances, we are not inclined to keep this petition in our hand. Accordingly, this petition is closed. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, we direct the first respondent to monitor and supervise the investigation.
