PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No. 20 of 2022 on the file of the respondent Police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence under Sections 294(b), 323, 354A, 506(ii) IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002, in Crime No.20 of 2022, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the defacto complainant and the petitioner are friends. They are studying in the same college. Since the petitioner is having wrong habits, the defacto complainant stopped talking with the petitioner. On the date of occurrence, the petitioner came to the defacto complainant's house with sword, abused her with filthy language and threatened her with dire consequences, to continue her friendship. Hence the complaint. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent and he has not committed any offence alleged by the prosecution. He has been falsely implicated in this case.

CRL OP(MD). No.8065 of 2022 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that serious allegations are made as against the petitioner. If the petitioner is granted anticipatory bail, there will be a life threat to the defacto complainant.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of this case and also the fact that the grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner will create life threat to the defacto complainant, this Court is not inclined to grant relief to the petitioner.

6.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
