O R D E R

The writ petition has been filed seeking for writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to approve the voluntary retirement proposal of the petitioner in the cadre of Headmaster from the third respondent school and settle the terminal benefits including pension.

2.When the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner brought to the notice of this Court that the voluntary retirement proposal submitted by the Management/ third respondent was already approved by the first respondent vide proceedings No.%.K.vz;.1926/M3/2026 dated 14.03.2026.

3.In the light of the above, the relief sought in that regard has become infructuous. Insofar as the relief sought with respect to the settlement of terminal benefits, including pension, is concerned, the same can be considered only upon submission of the necessary proposal by the third respondent pursuant to the proceedings dated 14.03.2026. Accordingly, the third respondent is directed to submit the necessary proposals to the first respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Upon such submission, the first respondent shall take all necessary steps to release the terminal and other pensionary benefits to the petitioner as expeditiously as possible, and in any event, within a period of three months thereafter. No costs.
