ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for a direction to the second respondent to comply with the order of the first respondent made in S.A.326/E/2022 dated 27.01.2022 and accordingly, furnish information sought for by the petitioner under the Right to Information Act, 2005.

2.Heard Mr.M.Murugan, learned Counsel for the writ petitioner, Mr.B.Saravanan, learned Standing Counsel, who accepts notice on behalf of the first respondent and Mrs.S.Jeyapriya, learned Government Advocate, who accepts notice on behalf of the second respondent.

W.P.[MD]No.8719 of 2022 3.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the second respondent, on instructions, would submit that since it is an old document, two (2) months time is required for the second respondent to furnish the information, as directed by the first respondent in his order dated 27.01.2022. The said statement is recorded. 4.Accordingly, this Court directs the second respondent to furnish the information to the petitioner as directed by the first respondent in his order dated 27.01.2022 passed in S.A.326/E/2022, within a period of two (2) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
