ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by R.SUDHAKAR,J.) The petitioner has come forward with this writ petition, seeking for a direction to the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 29.9.2015 for granting fishing right in Periyakanmai at Kovilpapakudi village, Madurai District.

2.The relief of fishing right cannot be granted at this point of time since the Panchayat has already taken a decision by issuing tender notification inviting applications from the public for that purpose. Therefore, the petitioner is at liberty to participate in the auction. He also wants to engage in Meen Pidi Thiruvizha. He is at liberty to participate in the said festival along with the villagers. For that the Court cannot give any specific direction for such claim.

3.With the above observation, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
