ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The petitioner was working as Under Secretary in the State Government. He was involved in a vigilance case and it ended in conviction. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner has filed Crl.A.(MD)No.173 of 2017. It is said to have been allowed on 03.03.2023. The petitioner was dismissed from service following his conviction. Now the criminal appeal has ended in his favour, the petitioner wants dismissal order to be set aside and the retirement benefits should be disbursed.

3. The petitioner is permitted to submit a fresh representation along with the copy of the Judgment rendered by this Court. On receipt of the same, the respondent shall consider it and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
