PRAYER : Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents herein to give necessary police protection and permit the petitioner to conduct "Adal Padal dance programme" Cultural Program during Arulmigu Sankareshwari Amman Temple festival at Veeravanchi Nagar, Kovilpatti Town, Thoothukudi District on 17.07.2018 and consider the petitioner's representation, dated 18.06.2018. This writ petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents herein to give necessary police protection and permit the petitioner to conduct "Adal Padal dance programme" Cultural Program during Arulmigu Sankareshwari Amman Temple festival at Veeravanchi Nagar, Kovilpatti Town, Thoothukudi District on 17.07.2018 and consider the petitioner's representation, dated 18.06.2018.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. 3.On instructions, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that if the petitioner makes a fresh representation before the respondent, the same will be considered in the light of the order passed by this Court in W.P.(MD)No.7911 of 2018 dated 12.04.2018, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.Considering the above submission made by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, it is open to the petitioner to make a fresh representation before the respondents within one week from today. If any such representation is received, the respondents shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law on 15.07.2018, by taking note of the order passed by this Court in W.P.(MD)No.7911 of 2018 dated 12.04.2018.

5.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
