Heard the learned counsel on either side. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2.The learned Government Advocate states that the petition mentioned vehicle appears to have been arranged for transportation of sand. When it was checked, the police authority found some https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
2 W.P.(MD)NO.8443 OF 2020 discrepancies in the registration number. Therefore, the respondent police has registered a case under Section 420 I.P.C.
3. I am not in a position to pass the usual order. Therefore, I direct the fourth respondent to produce the vehicle in question before the jurisdictional Court without any delay. 4.The petitioner is at liberty to move the jurisdictional Court for return of the petition mentioned vehicle. On such filing, the same will be disposed of on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two weeks thereafter. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter.
5.The Writ petition stands disposed of on these terms. There shall be no order as to costs.
