: Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, calling for the entire records, connected with the detention order passed in P.D.No.86 of 2017 dated 05.12.2017 on the file of the 2nd respondent herein and quash the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenu or body of the detenu namely Muthuraj, aged about 32 years, S/o.Muthuswamy, now detained at Central Prison, Palayamkottai, before this Court and set him at liberty forthwith. ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by S.VIMALA, J.] This Habeas Corpus Petition is filed challenging the order of detention passed in P.D.No.86 of 2017 dated 05.12.2017 by the second respondent.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the advisory board has found sufficient grounds for revocation of the Detention Order of the detenue, namely Muthuraj and the Advisory Board had recommended for revocation of the order of detention dated 05.12.2017. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Accordingly, the Government itself has revoked the orders of detention by the order in G.O.Rt.No.253, Home, Prohibition & Excise (XIV) Department, dated 22.01.2018. He has also produced the copy of the said Government Order.

3. In view of the order of revocation already passed, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed, as no further order is necessary. The above Government Order shall form part of this order.
