ORDER

The writ petition has been filed, calling for the records in RFL/Srirangam/39/2025 dated 19.03.2025 on file of the first respondent, quashing the same as being arbitrary, illegal and contrary to the provisions of the Registration Act, 1908 and Rules thereunder and consequently directing the first respondent to register the settlement deed dated 17.03.2025 in TP/214033107/2025 presented by the petitioner.

2.The issue involved in this writ petition had been gone into in detail by Hon'ble Mr.Justice G.K.ILANTHIRAIYAN G.Venkataraman Vs The Special Commissioner and Commissioner, Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowment Department, Chennai and others, W.P.(MD) No.29528 of 2024, dated 19.12.2024.

3.Though Mr.M.Saravanan has filed a counter and stoutly opposes the writ petition, I am not inclined to entertain the same. 2/4

4.In the light of the order referred to above, the Writ Petition stands ordered.

The impugned proceeding RFL/Srirangam/39/2025 dated 19.03.2025 is quashed. The first respondent shall register the sale deed dated 17.03.2025 executed by the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
