PRAYER: Petition - filed under 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the respondents not to provide permission for sound system and to conduct festival in order to maintain peace and tranquility in our village.

O R D E R

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would request this Court that it would suffice if the petitioner shall be given an opportunity of hearing before the respondent police to seek permission to conduct cultural programme made by one Muruganandham before passing any order.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would also submit that the request of the petitioner will be considered and an opportunity will be granted to the petitioner, if he appears before the respondent police today (22.06.2018) at 04.00 p.m..

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner undertakes that the petitioner will appear before the respondent police, today (22.06.2018) at 04.00 p.m., and make his objections. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. In view of the above, if any objection is made by the petitioner, the second respondent shall consider the application

for seeking permission to conduct cultural programme made by one Muruganandham, represented by the Villagers by taking his objections and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law.
