ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent/police for the offences punishable under Sections 6(4) of Tamilnadu Scheduled Commodities (RDCS) Order 1982 r/w Section 7(i) a (ii) of Essential Commodities Act, 1955, in Crime No.69 of 2018, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case is involving three tones of PDS Rice. The Investigating Officer submits that the petitioner is the owner of the contraband as well as the vehicle. The petitioner is having previous cases. He was also detained under the Prevention of Black Marketing Act.

3.Taking into account of the role attributed as well as the antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
