2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the accused No.1 in Crime No.1219 of 2020, which was registered for the offence punishable under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 323, 324 & 506(ii) of IPC on the file of the first respondent. Though the final report was filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Kovilpatti and taken cognizance in C.C.No.267 of 2021 in the year 2021, so far the trial proceedings has not yet commenced. 3.Considering the grievance that has been expressed by the petitioner, there shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Kovilpatti, to expedite the trial process in C.C.No.267 of 2021, pending on his file and dispose of the same within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.With the above said directions, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
