: Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the records pertaining to the order of detention passed by the third respondent in his proceedings in C.M.P.No.2 of 2017 (CS) dated 13.12.2017 and quash the same as illegal and produce the detenu, namely S.Soundarapandian, son of Somasundaram, aged about 58 years, now he is confined in Central Prison, Madurai before this Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by S.VIMALA, J.] This Habeas Corpus Petition is filed challenging the order of detention passed in C.M.P.No.2 of 2017 (CS) dated 13.12.2017 by the third respondent.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the advisory board has found sufficient grounds for revocation of the Detention Order of S.Soundarapandian, the petitioner herein and the Advisory Board had recommended for revocation of the order of detention dated 13.12.2017. Accordingly, the Government itself has revoked the orders of detention by the order in G.O.Rt.No.35, Cooperation, Food and Consumer Protection (E1) Department, dated 01.02.2018. He has also produced the copy of the said Government Order.

3. In view of the order of revocation already passed, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed, as no further order is necessary. The above Government Order shall form part of this order.
