Mr.S.Nagarajan, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 4.

2. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up

for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3. The petitioner is before this Court for disposal of his representation. The petitioner claimed that there is a dispute regarding the appointment of the Ambalakarar of Devapattu Village and lodged a complaint to the respondents. Today, the fourth respondent is present before this Court and would submit that no such complaint was received by him. However, the petitioner would submit that it was sent by post.

4. In such circumstances, a direction is issued to the petitioner to lodge a complaint before the fourth respondent in respect of the criminal dispute and incidents. The fourth respondent shall conduct appropriate investigation and if any cognizable offence is made out and if it requires to file an FIR, the fourth respondent shall take action on merits and in accordance with law.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
