: Respondents PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 to produce the corpus of the detenu Ondiveeran @ Karthik Prakash, son of Ramraj (aged about 25 years) from the illegal custody of the third respondent before this Court and set him at liberty.

[Order of the Court was made by M.DURAISWAMY, J.] The petitioner, who is the wife of the detenu, namely, Ondiveeran @ Karthik Prakash, son of Ramraj, has filed the above Habeas Corpus Petition, to produce the detenu, who was taken by the third respondent / police, illegally.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.R.Anatha Raj, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, taking notice for the respondents, submitted that the detenu was arrested and remanded by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.III, Erode and is confined to central prison, Coimbatore on 24.06.2018 in respect of Crime No.239 of 2018 for the offence under Sections 392 and 506(ii) of I.P.C.

3. The said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, is recorded.
