Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issue of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records pertaining to the impugned order dated 26.09.2014 on the file of the respondent No.2 and quash the same as illegal and consequently for a direction directing the respondent No.2 to disburse the education loan amount of Rs.4,00,000/- to the petitioner's son within the time period stipulated by this Court and pass any further or other orders as this Court may deem fit and proper under the circumstances of the case.

In this writ petition the petitioner is seeking for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records pertaining to the impugned order dated 26.09.2014 on the file of the respondent No.2 and quash the same as illegal and consequently for a direction directing the respondent No.2 to disburse the education loan amount of Rs.4,00,000/- to the petitioner's son within the time period stipulated by this Court.
2. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the respondents.
3. Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the second respondent has rejected the loan application by stating that the petitioner's son has https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
not secured 60% marks which is against the dictum laid down by the Division Bench of this Court in Branch Manager, Indian Overseas Bnak Vs. A.Ravi reported in 2014(4) CTC 363 and he prays that educational loan may be sanctioned to his son by considering his poor economical status.

Considering the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the impugned order is set aside and the second respondent is directed to consider the educational loan application of the petitioner's son as per IBA norms and pass orders within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently connected M.P.is Closed.
