ORDER
[Order of the Court was made by S.VIMALA, J] This petition has been filed for production of the detenu, namely, K.S.Selvalakshmi, aged 19 years before this Court and set him at liberty.
2. According to the petitioner, she is the mother of the detenu, Selvalakshmi, aged 19 years. It is alleged that the detenu is studying B.A.English at Vels University at Chennai. While so, on 06.11.2017, she returned Home from the College due to illness and thereafter, on 09.11.2017, she went missing. Therefore, the petitioner preferred a complaint to the respondent police and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
pursuant to which, a case in Crime No.611/2017 has been registered for 'woman missing'. Since the whereabouts of the detenu were not known, the petitioner is before this Court with this petition.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor through the respondent police has produced the detenu, namely, Selvalakshmi before this Court.
4. On being enquired with the detenu, she has expressed her willingness to go with her parents.
5. Considering the fact that the detenue, namely, Selvalakshmi has attained majority and also the fact that she is desirous to accompany her parents, she is set at liberty to act as per her own wish.
6. The Habeas Corpus Petition stands disposed of accordingly.
