2.It is pertinent to note that in respect of the arrears of salary of the year 1992-2006, writ petitions are filed in the year 2014, after a lapse of many years. Thus, the writ petitions are to be rejected on the ground of laches. However, the Block Development Officer, Thiruverumbur, issued a circular on 23.03.2009, stating that the arrears of salary as per the Government Order in G.O.Ms.No.10 dated 13.01.2009, shall be paid. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.It is not made clear what is the arrears to be paid and what all are the claims to be settled in favour of the petitioner. However, the respondents are directed to verify the Service Records of the writ petitioners and verify the arrears if any paid. In the event of any mistake in calculation, the arrears, if any to be paid shall be settled in accordance with the Government Orders and as per the Pay Rules in force.

4.With these directions, the Writ Petitions stand disposed of. No costs.
