ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner/sole accused apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 167, 409, 467, 477(A) of IPC r/w 13(2) r/w 13(1)(d) of Prevention of Corruption Act, in Crime No.3 of 2018, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondent. 3.It appears that the cause of action arose on 2014. The case against the petitioner arises based on documentary evidence. Hence, custodial interrogation is not required.
4.Therefore, taking into account of these circumstances and subject to the above specific condition, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner with certain conditions. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on his appearance before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate Cum Special Court, Tirunelveli and on his executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and on further condition that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police as and when required for interrogation. 5.The petitioner shall appear before the concerned Magistrate within a period of 15 days from the date on which the order copy made ready, failing which, the petition for anticipatory bail shall stand dismissed.
