Respondents PRAYER: Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to secure and produce the body or person of the petitioner's daughter / detenu viz., Ilavarasi, aged about 26 years, who may be in the illegal custody of somebody else or under the illegal custody of the 5th respondent and produce before this Court and set her at liberty.

ORDER
[Order of the Court was made by R.SUBBIAH, J.] The father of the detenu by name Ilavarasi, aged about 26 years, has come up with this Habeas Corpus Petition alleging that the fifth respondent herein has illegally abducted her. In this regard, he has already given a complaint to the first and second https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
respondent Police. As there was no response to the same, he has come up with this petition.
2.Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the detenu was produced before this Court by the second respondent Police. When we enquired, the detenu told that she has not been abducted by anybody. She has further told that the petitioner has already known about her whereabouts and that she is not interested to go along with the petitioner. The said statement is recorded. 3.In view of the above, nothing survives for adjudication in this petition.
