ORDER

The instant contempt petition has been filed alleging violation of the order of this Court dated 14.12.2023 made in W.P(MD)No.20851 of 2023, wherein this Court had directed the authorities to consider whether there are any 1/3

surplus teachers in the corporate management of B.T.Assistant Teacher(Science) for the academic year 2016-2017 and thereafter, proceed to approve the appointment of the writ petitioner, in case if there are no surplus teachers.

2.The first respondent herein has passed an order on 18.07.2024 approving the appointment of the writ petitioner only w.e.f. 20.04.2023 and on 07.04.2017 on the ground that there are surplus teachers in the corporate management upto April 2023.

3.In view of the fact that the order passed by the first respondent, this contempt petition stands closed with liberty to the writ petitioner to challenge the order dated 18.07.2024, seeking retrospective approval, if she is so advised. 12.08.2024 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes/No Internet: Yes/No RJR 2/3
