Respondents PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent Nos.1 to 4 to remove the illegal encroachment made by the respondent Nos.5 to 8 on Survey No.310/11 situated at Sivarakkottai Village, Kalligudi Taluk, Madurai District which is classified as Government poramboke land which was used by the Villagers as pathway access to the main road and by considering the reply given by the third respondent under the RTI Act along with "A' register and FMB sketch and considering the petitioner's representation dated 16.02.2024 within the time frame stipulated by this Court.

ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by G.ARUL MURUGAN, J.) This Writ Petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 to 4 to remove the illegal encroachments made by the respondents 5 to 8 in Survey No.310/11 situated at Sivarakkottai Village, Kalligudi Taluk, Madurai District.
2.The learned Government Advocate, appearing for the respondents 1 to 4, based on the written instructions from the Tahsildar, Kalligudi, dated 26.08.2025, submitted that a survy has been scheduled to be held on 28.08.2025. After completion of the survey, encroachments, if found, will be identified and appropriate action will be initiated in accordance with the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905 and the relevant rules within the time stipulated by this Court. 3.In view of the submissions made, the official respondents are directed to complete the survey and take appropriate enforcement action 3/6
pursuant to the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905 and Rules framed thereunder, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4.With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
