597/2011 dated 07.04.2011, based on petitioner's representation dated 24.02.2025.

For Petitioner : Mr.S.Rabeek Raja For Respondents : Mr.S.Kameswaran Government Advocate

O R D E R

The petitioner seeks issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to include the petitioner's name in the patta. According to the petitioner, based on the settlement deed executed by his father dated 07.04.2011, the petitioner has sought for including his name by making appropriate application. The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner's brother's name was included, however, the petitioner's name was omitted. However, the petitioner has given a representation in this regard on 24.02.2025. 2.Learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner has not made any online application, for including his name in the patta as per the prevailing rules.

3.Learned Counsel for the petitioner would contend that necessary online application was already made and even thereafter, 2/5

the petitioner's name was omitted. Only in such circumstances, the petitioner gave a representation on 24.02.2025, to include his name in the joint patta.

4.However, on going through the representation dated 24.02.2025, I find that there is no reference to any online application made by the petitioner. Therefore, the Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the petitioner to make necessary online application for inclusion of his name in the joint patta and after remitting necessary charges for the same, subject to the said online application being made by the petitioner within a period of two [2] weeks from today, the third respondent shall consider the petitioner's application thereafter, on merits and in accordance with law and pass final orders within a period of eight [8] weeks thereafter. There shall be no order as to costs.
