Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a writ of Mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation dated 02.02.2015 and consequently direct the respondents to disburse subsistence allowance to the petitioner for the suspended period.

Mr.M.Rajarajan, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondents.

2. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

3. In this writ petition, the petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 02.02.2015.

4. It is stated that the petitioner was placed under suspension on 04.12.2014 and seeking for revocation of such suspension, the petitioner has made a representation on 02.02.2015.

5. It is seen that the said representation is yet to be disposed of. Considering the fact that the petitioner was placed under suspension and is seeking revocation of the same, it is for the 2nd respondent to consider and decide the same on merits and in accordance with law and this Court is not expressing any view on the merits and contentions raised by the petitioner.

Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of only with a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the request of the petitioner seeking for revocation of suspension and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
