RESPONDENT/RESPONDENT Petition filed praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to extent the time granted by this Hon`ble Court in Crl.O.P. (MD) No. 11588 of 2020 dated 16.10.2020 and pass any other direction deemed fit to the fact and circumstances of the case. Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.VISHNUVARTHANAN.P.M, Advocate for the petitioner and of M/S.P.KOTTAI CHAMY, Government Advocate (Criminal Side) for the Respondent the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed to extend the time to comply with the condition imposed in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.11588 of 2020 dated 16.10.2020.
2. It appears that the petitioner has been granted anticipatory bail as early as on 16.10.2020 and after a period of 10 months, this application has been filed for extension of time, stating that due to the pandemic situation, the petitioner could not arrange the sureties. This Court is not satisfied with the reasons assigned in the petition. Therefore, this petition is dismissed, however, with https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh application for anticipatory bail, if so advised.
