ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police, in connection with the case in Crime No.183 of 2024, for the offence under Sections 328 1/3

of IPC and 24(1) of Cigarette and other Tabacoo Products Act 2003, has filed this petition seeking anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner was found in illegal possession of 1650 pockets of various brands of banned tabacco products.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police opposed for grant of anticipatory bail on the ground that the petitioner is having one previous case of similar in nature.

5. Considering the nature of allegation and also considering the antecedent of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
