The writ petition has been filed for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation given by the petitioner, dated 02.06.2015 and to renew the license granted to this petitioner for the year 2014 to 2015 in License No. R.Dis.19870/96.

2. According to the petitioner, he is a licensed cable television operator and he running the Cable Television Network
for the past 20 years without any adverse remarks and the grievance of the petitioner is that he has given a representation to the respondents on 02.06.2015 and so far, the said representation has not been considered by the respondents. Hence, they have filed the present writ petition.
3. Mr.Abdul Saleem, the learned counsel appearing for the respondents/Arasu Cable TV Corporation submitted that they are ready and willing to consider the petitioners' representation within a time limit prescribed by this Court.
4. In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the respondents, the first respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.06.2015, after giving an opportunity to the petitioner as well as any rival claimant, if any, and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
