ORDER

The writ petition has been filed in the nature of mandamus seeking a direction to the respondents / Tahsildar and Head Surveyor of Madurai East taluk, Madurai District to survey the lands of the petitioner in Survey No. 34/3A2 to an extent of 4 cents and 332 sq.fts, Plot No.A situated at Melamadai village, Madurai East Taluk, Madurai District. The petitioner had given a representation on 12.11.2022.

2.The petitioner had also paid necessary charges though e-challan on 14.09.2022. The petitioner claims that patta No.355 stands in his name and he is the absolute owner of the property.

3.A direction is given to the 1 and 2 respondents to issue notice to the adjacent land owners and thereafter if there is no objection then proceed to survey the land. If there are objections, the same may be noted and a report may be filed.

4. A memo has been filed by the petitioner that the area of the land has been wrongly mentioned in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition 2/4

and the correct extent of the land is 4 cents 332 Sq.ft. The said memo is recorded.
