O R D E R

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the respondent police herein not to harass the petitioners under the guise of enquiry, without due process of law. 2.Today, when the petition is came up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first and second respondents police would submit that on receipt of the complaint from the third respondent, the first respondent directed the Inspector of Police, Land Grabbing Cell to initiate an enquiry. Accordingly, enquiry has been initiated against the petitioners in C.No.G324116/1057/SP/VNR/2020. He would further submit that during the time of enquiry, both the petitioners and the third respondent undertook to settle their dispute through Court of law. Crl.O.P.(MD)No.8029 of 2020 respondent, the said enquiry has been closed on 27.07.2020. He would also submit that as of now, no enquiry is pending against the petitioners.

3.The submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor is recorded.

4.It is made clear now that the complaint has been closed, the respondent police shall not call the petitioner in the guise of enquiry and harass him.

5.With the above observations, this criminal original petition is closed.
