This Writ Petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for a direction to the respondents 2 and 3 to conduct peace committee meeting in respect of the temple issue for the temple by name Mariamman Kovil situated at Pilloor Village, Kulithalai Taluk, Karur District and allow the petitioner's community people, so as to participate in the temple festival and worshipping in the temple based on the petitioner's representation, dated 25.04.2022. 1/3

2.Heard Mr.D.S.Haroon Rasheed, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr.B.Saravanan, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf the respondents. 3.On instructions, the learned Additional Government Pleader would submit that there is no dispute between the parties and therefore, there is no necessity to hold a peace committee meeting as requested by the petitioner. The said statement is recorded. However, the same is disputed by the learned Counsel for the petitioner.

4.No prejudice will be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner's representation, dated 25.04.2022 seeking for conduct of peace committee meeting respect of the subject temple is concerned on merits and in accordance with law after affording a fair hearing to the petitioner within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 5.Accordingly, this Court directs the second respondent to pass final orders on the petitioner's representation, dated 25.04.2022 seeking for convening a peace committee meeting in respect of the temple issues pertaining to the temple by name Mariamman Kovil situated at Pilloor Village, Kulithalai Taluk, Karur District and pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after affording fair hearing to the petitioner including granting him the right of personal hearing.

6.With the aforesaid directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
