2. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for disposal.

3. The present impugned order of transfer is challenged on the reason that the petitioner is a widow and there are other persons in the very same distribution circle, who can be transferred to the place at which, the petitioner is transferred.

4. It is the case of the petitioner that without transferring other persons, the petitioner is being transferred. I do not think that the grounds raised by the petitioner can be legally sustained in view of the fact that the present impugned order of transfer has been passed on administrative grounds against existing vacancy. It is also seen that the petitioner is working in the present place for the past three years. Therefore, I do not find any hardship that is being faced by the petitioner, as she is transferred from Karaikudi to Madurai, which in my considered view, will not cause any hardship even on the humanitarian ground. Accordingly, this writ petition fails and the same is dismissed. No costs. Consequently connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
