For Respondent : Mr.R.M.Anbunithi, Additional Public Prosecutor PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.482 of BNSS / 438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.115/2024 on the file of the Respondent Police. ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner /accused, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 407 and 420 IPC in Cr.No.115 of 2024, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent Police.

3. In view of the fact that the vehicle is yet to be recovered and also considering the allegation that the vehicle was entrusted to the accused persons expecting a return, after paying the rent for over a period, thereafter, neither the rent was made nor the vehicle was returned to the owner. since the vehicle has to be traced and the role played by the each of the accused has to be ascertained, I am of the view that this case requires custodial interrogation of the petitioner and this is not a case for grant of anticipatory bail.
