ORDER

****** (Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.) It is the case of the petitioner that his daughter Ramya was married to one Mayilkannan and their marriage was registered on 08.07.2016 and thereafter, she has gone away with Ranjith, the third respondent herein. In this regard, on the complaint given by one Kalimuthu, a petition enquiry is pending in C.S.RNo.577 of 2016.

2. In view of the fact that the detenu-Ramya is 23 years old and that, she has eloped with the third respondent, we are of the view that this is not a fit case, in which, a Writ of Habeas Corpus requires to be issued. Hence, the Habeas Corpus Petition is https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

dismissed. However, the respondent police is directed to proceed with the enquiry in C.S.R.No.577 of 2016 and keep the petitioner informed of the developments, if any.
