[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] The petitioner has filed this petition seeking production of his son and to set him at liberty.

petitioner has not yet served notice on the third respondent. The status report filed also would indicate that investigation is done by CBCID, Thanjavur. Thus, the official respondents do not have any role in this.

3.In such view of the matter, we are not inclined to keep the petition pending. However, we make it clear that the investigation done by CBCID in Crime No.29 of 2017 for man missing will have to be continued.

4.This Habeas Corpus Petition is closed with the above observation and direction.
