: Respondents This Habeas Corpus Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issue of a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to produce the body or person of his minor daughter P.Mahalakshmi, 17 year old girl from the illegal detention by the respondents 3 to 7 and handover the custody to the petitioner.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by T.S.SIVAGNANAM) The second respondent produced the detenue before us. 2.We had questioned the detenue. She is aged 18 years. She has married the third respondent and she wants to reside with him. We also questioned the petitioner and his wife. Both of them are very upset about the action of their daughter. Thus, we find that the detenue is not in illegal detention and therefore, question of issuing any direction in this habeas corpus petition does not arise.

3.Accordingly, this petition is dismissed.
