Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 5 to ensure the receipt of Thalaikattu Vari from the petitioner's family for the Masi Periyannan Temple festival scheduled to be held on 17.05.2022 as per the proceedings of the fourth respondent in Na.Ka.Aa.1/004/2022 dated 17.02.2022.

*********** This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 to 5 to ensure the receipt of Thalaikattu Vari from the petitioner's family for the Masi Periyannan Temple festival scheduled to be held on 17.05.2022 as per the proceedings of the fourth respondent in Na.Ka.Aa.1/004/2022 dated 17.02.2022.

2.Learned Counsel for the petitioner would now submit that though he seeks for implementation of the order dated 17.02.2022 in this writ petition, the petitioner is satisfied if he is allowed to give a fresh representation to the fifth respondent for the implementation of the order dated 17.02.2022 passed by the fourth respondent in Na.Ka.Aa.1/004/2022. The said statement is recorded. 3.No prejudice would be caused to the official respondents if the petitioner's representation is considered on merits and in accordance with law before the date of the scheduled festival which is likely to take place on 17.05.2022.
4.For the foregoing reasons, the petitioner is directed to give fresh representation to the third and fifth respondents, requesting permission to participate in the Masi Periyannan Temple festival scheduled to be held on 17.05.2022 and requesting the fifth respondent to collect the Thalaikattu Vari from the petitioner and his family members within a period of one [1] week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of the said representation, the fifth respondent shall pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of one [1] week thereafter, after affording a fair hearing to the petitioner. 5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
