This petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to instruct the second respondent to register the petitioner's complaint dated 02.03.2016 and investigate the case in accordance with law.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) appearing for the State.

3. It is seen that the petition has been given by the petitioner on behalf of his daughter, who is said to have been got married to the opposite party and there is a matrimonial discord between them. Under such circumstances, no positive direction can be issued to the respondent police to register the F.I.R. on the complaint of the petitioner dated 02.03.2016. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner's daughter to give a complaint, if so advised.
