(Order of the Court was made by R.SUDHAKAR,J.) This writ petition has been filed in public interest, seeking a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to open and bring to use the newly established Astroturf Hockey ground situated in M.G.R. Stadium, Race Course Road, Madurai.

2.When the matter came up for admission on 13.10.2015, this Court passed an order directing the fourth respondent, the District Sports Officer, Madurai to be present before this Court today. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Accordingly, Mr.Murugan, the District Sports Officer has appeared and submitted that the said Stadium has already been opened. 3.Recording the said submission, this writ petition is closed. No costs.
