********** [Order of the Court was made by T.S.SIVAGNANAM,J] The petitioner is the husband of the detenue. The detenue, Mahalakshmi, was present before us and we have questioned her. She admits the marriage with the petitioner and submits that the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner has been arrayed as accused in certain criminal cases and police has been questioning her and she is now not willing to join with the petitioner. The detenue further suggests the petitioner not to disturb her and her mother in the home or in the college or in the hostel.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would admit that two criminal cases were registered against the petitioner and claims that in one case the petitioner has been acquitted and in another case the petitioner is facing trial.

3. Viewing the criminal background to the petitioner, the petitioner shall not in any manner disturb the peaceful living of the detenue and her mother, at the home or at the college or at the hostel and in case if a complaint is filed before the respondents 1 and 2 regarding such disturbances, appropriate action be initiated. Thus, we find there is no illegal detention. The habeas corpus petition is dismissed.
