O R D E R

*********** [Order of the Court was made by T.S.SIVAGNANAM, J.] We have heard the petitioner appearing in person and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2.

2. The present Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to produce the person or body of the detenu, namely, Velmurugan, S/o.Karuppan, aged 51 years, before this Court and set him at liberty.

3. The second respondent police has produced the communications given to him by the Platoon, attached to the Air Force Academy, dated 10.03.2017, as well as the proceedings, dated 28.02.2017. From the above referred to communications, we find that the family of the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner, the brother of the detenu, the son of the detenu and the son-in-law of the detenu were informed that on 27.02.2017, the detenu has consumed acid in bathroom and they have also met the husband of the detenu at Military Hospital, Secunderabad.

4. In view of the above, if the petitioner wants to see her husband, she can travel immediately to Secunderabad and meet her husband. The copies of the communications, referred to above, shall be handed over to the petitioner under due acknowledgment.

5. The Habeas Corpus Petition is disposed of on the above terms.
