O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to remove the petitioner's name from the History Sheet in HS.No. 152/2018 on the file of the 3rd respondent by considering the petitioner representation, dated 03.04.2024.

2.According to the petitioner, the name of the petitioner was included in the History Sheet in HS No.152/2018 on the file of the 3rd respondent. Due to civil dispute, some cases were foisted against the petitioner, thereby, the 3rd respondent has opened history sheet against the petitioner. Taking advantage of the same, the police officials unnecessarily tortured the petitioner. In this regard, the petitioner has sent a representation to the respondent police to remove his name from the history sheet, but the same has not been considered. Hence, this petition.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent Police would submit that they have received the representation of the petitioner, the same is under consideration. The 2/5

petitioner has seven previous cases at his credit, out of which, four cases were ended in conviction and the remaining cases are pending. However, they will consider the representation of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders within a period of 15 days. 4.Considering the prayer of the petitioner and recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court hereby directs the 1st respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner and dispose the same within a period of 15 days from the date of this order, in accordance with law.

5.With the above observations and directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of.
