ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by T.S.SIVAGNANAM, J.) This petition has been filed by the father of the detenu, who is a boy aged about 18 years stating that he is in the illegal custody of the third respondent.
2. When we heard the matter on an earlier occasion, we referred the matter for mediation, considering the fact that the boy was only 18 years old. The learned Mediator has submitted a report that the mediation could not succeed. There was an allegation made that the police was present in the mediation hall and appears to have exhorted the boy and hence, we directed the Mediator to be present before this Court. Accordingly, he is before this Court today. He has clearly narrated as to what https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
transpired during mediation that the Inspector of Police was not inside the room and he was only in the waiting hall and the detenu was very clear that he did not want to join his father/petitioner. Therefore, we find that there is no illegal detention. Accordingly, the Habeas Corpus Petition is closed. Sd/- Assistant Registrar (CO) /True copy/ Sub Assistant Registrar To
