PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to issue a Criminal Original Petition for direction, directing the respondent no.1 to transfer the investigation in Crime No.193 of 2021 dated 18.12.2021 on the file of the respondent no.3 and entrusted the same to the respondent no.2 for further investigation or any other Competent Officer and file a final report before the Jurisdictional Magistrate within the time period stipulated by this Hon'ble Court.

ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the first respondent to transfer the investigation in Crime No.193 of 2021 dated 18.12.2021 on the file of the third respondent and entrusted the same to the second respondent for further investigation or any other Competent Officer and file a final report before the Jurisdictional Magistrate within the time period stipulated by this Court.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the investigation is under progress and about to complete the investigation and file the final report.

3. Under such circumstances, if the investigation is transferred to file of the second respondent to any other agency it will affect the entire investigation done by the third respondent.

4. In view of the same, the third respondent is directed to follow the procedure and complete the investigation and file the final report within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Further the second respondent is directed to monitor the investigation done by the third respondent.

5. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
