PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No.291 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/A.1, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 24.03.2022 for the offences punishable under Sections 363, 366, 376(i) and 506(ii) IPC, in Crime No.291 of 2022, on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner had threatened the de-facto complainant by stating that if she failed to marry him, he would kill her brother and thereafter, he had physical relationship with her. Hence, the case.

3.This is the petitioner's second bail application and the earlier petition was dismissed by this Court, dated 12.04.2022 in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.6778 of 2022.

4.Considering the seriousness and gravity of the offence alleged and also the fact that the investigation is not yet completed and that there is no change in circumstances, since the dismissal of the earlier petition, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
