Mr.R.Karthikeyan, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondent. With the consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final hearing at the admission stage itself.

2. The prayer in the writ petition is for issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the respondent to rectify the order, dated 09.01.2015, passed in Tin No.33345000691/07-08, under Section 84 of the Tamil Nadu Value Added Tax Act, 2006, pursuant to the petitioner's representation, dated 13.08.2015.

3. Considering the limited scope of the prayer, there will be a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 13.08.2015, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

4. With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
