Respondents Prayer: Habeas Corpus Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a direction to the respondents to produce the petitioner by name Kanavaipitchai, Son of Asenrouther, aged about 40 years now lodged and confined at Central Prison, Madurai before this Court and set the detenu at liberty under Tamil Nadu Prison Rules 1983 and in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by T.S.SIVAGNANAM,J.) This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed by the detenu to set him at liberty.

2. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that the Advisory Board has submitted a proposal to the Government on 16.07.2016 and the Government Order is awaited.

4. We are directed the Government to consider the proposal of the Advisory Board and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above directions, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
