Heard both sides.
2.The impugned order shall be treated as only a demand notice. It is open to the petitioner to comply with the demand or decline. If the petitioner fails to comply with the demand, the only course open to the third respondent is to refer the matter to the jurisdictional Tahsildar under the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905.
3.Leaving open all the contentions of the writ petitioner and with the aforesaid observation, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
